British “It” girl Alexa Chung will return to American television with her own PBS show, “Thrift America.” The show will follow Chung and Maya Singer, the creator of the show and editor of special projects for Style.com, as they travel across various cities, such as Detroit, Brooklyn and Nashville, shopping at flea markets, consignment shops and garage sales in search of some great finds. Given Chung’s past gig hosting her own (brief) MTV show, “It’s On With Alexa Chung,” and her growing success as a young fashionista with her recent Madewell collaboration, this series, which is set to air next summer, is one you won’t want to miss.
