All you have to do is write a brief 300-500 word essay about your favorite pair of shoes. Tell us a story — where did they come from? What’s your best memory in your shoes? Do they somehow rival Dorothy’s red slippers? The editors will pick their favorite, and the lucky reader will win a certificate to buy a new favorite pair. There are many shoe lovers out there, however, so be creative and have fun with it. This may be a dumb question but am I allowed to gush about my favorite boots?
I wasn’t sure if boots are considered shoes or if they just fall under the ‘footwear’ category.
