The thing about colored contacts is that they are so cool that friends will want to trade with other friends for different colors, or just for fun. That's where you are going to get infections happening which could cause blindness or even the loss of an eye. Anyway, I had extend wear bi-weekly disposables and never had any problems. Matter of fact - my eye-sight slowly improved over the years of wearing my colored contacts.
