After months of anticipation, the Wonder Girls are finally coming to American entertainment. On February 2, the one-hour special Wonder Girls at the Apollo will premiere on Teen Nick, 8pm EST. The girls were recently interviewed by Access Hollywood about the movie’s charms. They say, “You get to see scenes about friendship, sisterhood, cat fights, and maybe a little bit of a romance!” Their English has improved a lot since the last time I heard them open for Jonas Brothers a couple of years ago. A month ago, I got the chance to attend the Boston stop of Clara C: Shakin’ off Silence tour.The event was hosted by Boston University’s Chinese Students (CSA) and Korean Students (KSA) Associations. The CSA, one of the largest cultural organizations at BU, hosted Takeout: Goodwill Benefit Concert last spring, which showcased Asian American talent from across the nation and raised more than $4,000 for Goodwill. This semester’s endeavors focused again on empowering Boston’s Asian American community with the arts. Many of you may recognize South Korean actor Lee Min Ho, the face of the hot 2009 Korean television drama, “Boys Over Flowers,” or more recently from the action drama “City Hunter.” We found out that his oh-so-beautiful face will once more be seen in a new drama—as a part of a Toyota ad campaign. Yes, that’s right. According to Toyota, “Lee Min Ho exudes the same characteristics” as the “reinvented 2012 Toyota Camry” with “bold, handsome, and sophisticated styling.”

It can be hard to get back into the rhythm of school, especially after a carefree summer, but what makes it so much easier for me are fall’s tv show premieres! Two of my favorites began last week, Glee and Nikita.
