Who: Sara & Suruzi
Spotted: Grand Promenade at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center
Why we love their looks: We were immediately drawn toward Sara & Suruzi’s styles when we spotted them at Concept Korea’s presentation and were pleasantly impressed to find out that they are designers themselves and were wearing clothes from their eponymous line, which debuted in 2009. Both graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with degrees in fashion design, and they decided to start their own contemporary line together right out of school.

Elle Creative Director Joe Zee’s new Sundance Channel show, “All on the Line,” which we recently saw a sneak peak of, will debut on March 29, 2011 at 10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific. The struggling designers who will receive guidance and critique from Zee on the show will include Marc Jacobs and Betsey Johnson alum Dana Maxx, former director at DKNY Jeans, Express and Bebe Leila Shams, Jedda-Kahn, Julia Larcon, Radenroro, “Project Runway” alum Kara Janx, and Layla and Josh. Fall 2010 Fashion Week is just around the corner and while we’re busy figuring out our show schedule, we want to take the time to share our excitement with all of you!
