On Friday, we made our way to Lincoln Center to see Concept Korea IV Fashion Collective, a collaborative between The South Korean MCST (Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism)/KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), where the five winners of this season’s competition—Doho, Lie Sang Bong, Resurrection by Juyong, Son Jung Wan, and Steve J & Yoni P—showcased their Spring/Summer 2012 collections.

As September Fashion Week quickly approaches, we keep getting news of fashion designers breaking out into the world of beauty. Charlotte Ronson recently launched her own makeup line at Sephora. Now, Alexander Wang takes a dip into beauty by monopolizing the best fashion accessory ever: nails. Like fashion designers Prabal Gurung and Tracy Reese, Wang will be collaborating with Sally Hansen to produce his own nail color collection. The colors will debut in his spring show, which is less than two weeks away.

New York Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Week kicks off today and Mochi editors will be providing you with exclusive reviews and photos of all the runway glam at the new venue at Lincoln Center.
