As previously mentioned, Harry Shum Jr. is getting a bigger plot line in the new season of Glee, which premieres this Tuesday, September 20 at 8pm EST on FOX. I’m a new Gleek, so when I heard there was a 3-D concert movie coming out, I was skeptical. Not because I don’t absolutely adore Glee and want to be on its cast and sing and dance next to my favorite Asian guy Harry Shum Jr., but I’m just not a huge fan of 3-D. This little boy’s rendition of the “Glee” cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a long time. I just want to know–should I like a two-year-old telling me “Let’s go all the way tonight” this much? And where did he get that suit??
What a warbler. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed. This is way cuter to watch than any of the Weiner stuff that’s been bombarding my news feed lately!

From a background dancer to “The Other Asian,” Harry Shum, Jr.’s role as Mike Chang in “Glee” has, to our utmost delight, grown considerably this season, with him coupling up with girlfriend Tina Cohen-Chang during the charming duet “Sing!” from A Chorus Line, to his first dancing duet with Mr. Schuester on last night’s episode.
Shum has really come far in this role and his success continues to skyrocket as reliable sources confirm that he will become a series regular next season!
