We love Harry. Not Potter (although him, too), but Harry Shum, Jr. How can we not? He’s “ab-ulous” (to quote “Glee”). And boy can dance. So, we were thrilled when we heard “Glee’s” co-creator Brad Falchuk report at ComicCon that Shum will up his appearances in the next season.

The boys at Wong Fu Productions and Harry Shum, Jr. have teamed up to create three hilarious new online shorts. All three shorts are comedies and have Shum as the lead role, including “3 Steps to Self-Esteem,” “Buffet,” and “Best Date EVER.” Watching Shum’s non-dancing skills shine is great—he’s hilarious!
The summaries for the three shorts are as follows:
“3 Steps to Self-Esteem”: While reading a self-help book, Shum sees a woman being attacked by a man and goes in to rescue her.
“Buffet”: Lucas (Shum) completely misses the whole meaning of “buffet” …

Harry Shum, Jr. will step into a refreshing action/thriller role in the short film “3 Minutes,” directed by Ross Ching, and costarring Stephen “Twitch” Boss from “So You Think You Can Dance.” Though there’s little information on the film right now, apparently there will be no dancing from Shum in the short—instead the teasers show guns, intense action, and apparently a light saber as well.

From a background dancer to “The Other Asian,” Harry Shum, Jr.’s role as Mike Chang in “Glee” has, to our utmost delight, grown considerably this season, with him coupling up with girlfriend Tina Cohen-Chang during the charming duet “Sing!” from A Chorus Line, to his first dancing duet with Mr. Schuester on last night’s episode.
Shum has really come far in this role and his success continues to skyrocket as reliable sources confirm that he will become a series regular next season!
