We just had to post this heartwarming photo of Euna Lee and Laura Ling reuniting with their families after they arrived at Bob Hope Airport today in Burbank, Calif. On the left is Euna Lee, with her adorable daughter Hana (which reminds us of Euna’s touching “urgent message” to her husband while in captivity about sending in Hana’s registration forms), and her husband Michael Saldate. “Michael chuckled as he told us about an urgent message he had received from Euna … Euna wanted to make sure that Michael had sent in the registration form for Hana for summer school. Euna had chosen the Korean immersion …

Fashion designer Issey Miyake, who was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan, was only seven years old when the nuclear bomb was dropped in Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945. Now 71 years old, Miyake reveals the impact of that day on his life in his recent op-ed piece for The New York Times.
“When I close my eyes, I still see things no one should ever experience: a bright red light, the black cloud soon after, people running in every direction trying desperately to escape — I remember it all. Within …
