Mochi is always looking for editors, writers, designers, marketing representatives and more. All positions require a minimum one-year commitment and are unpaid, but are great for resume-building, clips, networking and hands-on experience. All applications will be reviewed by Mochi, and selected applicants will be invited to interview with a Mochi representative. Mochi Magazine is seeking a fashion market editor (must be based in New York or be able to travel to New York frequently) to source products for fashion shoots and cover fashion trends. The ideal candidate is obsessed with Style.com, has an eye for the latest trends, and can translate these trends to a young Asian American audience.
Requirements:
Must love fashion and spotting new trends.
Must pitch photo shoot ideas and pull clothing and accessories for shoots.
Must schedule and attend market appointments with New York City showrooms.
Prior relationships with PR and showroom contacts a plus, but not required.
This position requires about 4-5 hours a week.

Mochi Magazine is seeking an editor to help write, edit, and produce content for its health, beauty, and fitness verticals of the site. This person should also be on top of relevant health news concerning the young Asian American audience. The ideal candidate has experience with health writing, is obsessed with anything related to nutrition, healthy lifestyle, and fitness, and has a working knowledge or passion for health foods.
Requirements:
- Must be familiar with WordPress
- Familiarity of well-known health experts, doctors, nutritionists, and fitness coaches
- Able to search credible health and medical publications, including Pub Med
- Must be tracking the latest health trends and crazes and fad diets
- Read various relevant blogs and newspapers on a daily basis

Mochi Magazine is seeking writers and bloggers to pitch and write stories for Mochimag.com and the Mochi blog. Writers should submit one to two blogs a week.

Responsibilities include working with the creative director and other creative staff to come up and execute ideas for content on the Mochi Magazine website. A lot of this position requires collaboration among other members of the magazine (i.e. Business and Editorial departments). The applicant will also manage layouts and graphic needs of the website.
