Be it dresses, sweaters, or nails, we’ve slowly seen the ’90s revival of grunge and floral prints on the fashion scene. But the truth is, it never went away; over the years, floral has evolved in fashion. And in the spirit of our latest “Reinvention” issue, there’s no better time to reinvent your summer look with floral prints and designs. Check out our editorial spread “In Bloom,” where we pulled together classic floral looks and incorporated them with a variety of textures, colors, and designs. Who knew stripes and florals would work so well together? A majority of the clothing was provided by Pinkyotto, the brainchild of former model Ryo Liu and Peter Hsia; with locations in New York and Boston. Watch our behind-the-scenes clip below to follow the making and inspiration behind the “In Bloom” editorial with fashion editor Esther Cho.
